Trident Markets Group LLC is incorporated in Casper, Wyoming and does business from Los Angeles, California. Read this before requesting a quote. Effective 17 September 2026.

What this desk is

Trident is a non-custodial matching desk with settlement coordination. We do not hold customer assets. The third key in the settlement script is held by HodlHodl as independent arbitrator, not by Trident, and we cannot move coins.

Off-book matching

RFQs and resting size are not displayed on a public order book. That is the point: a large print can move the market against the remaining unfilled size. Off-book does not mean unregulated, and it does not mean anonymous to Trident or to Zyphe.

Counterparty anonymity

Each party sees a hashed counterparty label, not a legal name. Trident can identify both parties for sanctions, subpoenas, and dispute arbitration. Do not use the desk to evade KYC, reporting, or sanctions.

Settlement and ramp

Matched Bitcoin locks on Bitcoin only, in a P2WSH 2-of-3 issued by HodlHodl as independent arbitrator: buyer, seller, HodlHodl. The dollar leg is a wire. It is not a second chain, a bridge, or a cross-chain atomic swap. Trident is not a party to the script and cannot move coins. Ether, Tether, and a dollar-denominated base are not accepted into that script. Funds should be ramped from the bound wallet. Chain watches are best-effort. A signature hash on this desk is not a broadcast Bitcoin signature. You must co-sign the on-chain transaction with your own key software. HodlHodl's own terms govern the escrow contract.

Market risk

Bitcoin and other digital assets are volatile, may become illiquid, and can be lost through key compromise, protocol failure, or fraud. Quotes last thirty seconds. Past mid prices are not a fill.

BSA / AML

We will not open or keep an account without Zyphe verification. Before a quote is priced, the desk screens residency against its sanctions list and requires an active access token. A hit revokes that token and freezes new matching. It does not give Trident a key to an open HodlHodl script. Surveillance records are sealed to an auditor view key, which is not a settlement key. We may also freeze matching or file required reports where the law demands it. Structured transactions intended to evade reporting are prohibited. The screen is a residency check, not a legal-name SDN file.
